Alright class! I hope you enjoyed Bree Sharp’s comparison of David Duchovny to Heathcliff. Start thinking about why Duchovny is an “American Heathcliff”. If you watch x-files do you agree? If you don’t, just from hearing the song what do you think? Did Sharp make a good comparison or was “American Heathcliff” a streach?

If you want some extra credit points, lets make this worth 2 points, go ahead and write no more than 3 pages about this comparison. specifically how is or is not Duchovny an “American Heathcliff” as BREE SHARP is portraying him. Make sure your using examples from the song as well as examples from the book that support or go against Sharp’s descriptions of Duchovny.
